Kasiteropoulou Dorothea – Assist. Professor

Since joining University of Thessaly, Dr. D.Kasiteropoulou conducted research on Hybrid atomistic-continuum methods, Micro and nano-flow and multiscale modeling, Computational modeling through nanoporous materials, Computational Fluid Dynamics problems, Transport phenomena in micro- and nano-fluidic systems, High performance computing and GPU programming. She supervised projects on computational methods for high Reynolds number external and internal flows, numerical grid generation (finite elements), vectorization of computer codes, modelling of complex environmental processes and development of parallel processing algorithms. Dr. D.Kasiteropoulou has extensive research experience on Sustainable Water Resources Management and on the management of steel industry scrap-soil by its utilization into red ceramics.
