Pedagogical and Teaching Competence

According to article 54, par. 4a of Law 4589 (Government Gazette Issue 13A/29.01.2019), pedagogical and teaching competence is certified with a certificate issued by a HEI Department, upon successful attendance of a group of courses offered in a first-cycle programme of study.
A certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence is awarded to students of the Department of Environmental Sciences after they have attended and successfully completed the following courses:

According to latest amendments to the law, students who have been admitted to Departments or Schools up to and including the academic year 2022-2023 are entitled to receive certification of pedagogical and teaching competence in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 54 of Law 4589/2019 (A’ 13), provided that the Departments or Schools, to which they have been admitted, used to grant such certification in the year of their admission. Further instructions are expected from the relevant UTH body regarding students admitted in the academic year 2023-2024 and thereafter.
