The Gaiopolis Campus, in Larissa, operates a Student Restaurant, which provides free meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) to undergraduate and postgraduate students who are eligible based on their financial and family status.
Students have to submit their application for free meals electronically, through the University of Thessaly online platform, using their institutional account codes. Applications are submitted before the end of the current academic year, and on dates set by the Student Welfare Office, in order for students to receive meals for the next academic year. All information and forms are available on the University of Thessaly website.
Students entitled to free meals are issued a Catering Card by the Student Welfare Office. Free meals are provided to eligible students for n+1 and n+2 years (where n is the minimum years of study required for a degree).
Students who are not eligible for free meals can also have their meals at the Student Restaurant at very reasonable prices.
